Each simulation year you will be introduced to new decision areas for your company:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Year 1 Decisions:<\/strong> Sales and Marketing only.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year 2 New Decisions:<\/strong> The addition of Distribution and Branding.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year 3 New Decisions:<\/strong> The addition of Operations and Finance (debt).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year 4 New Decisions:<\/strong> The addition of Product Development, Launch New Product and Finance (equity and dividends).<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year 5 New Decisions:<\/strong> Third New Product available. Product Development available for your second product.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year 6 New Decisions:<\/strong> Fourth New Product available. Product Development available for your third product.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year 7 New Decisions:<\/strong> Product Development available for your fourth product.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year 8:<\/strong> All decisions available.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The primary goal of your company is to enrich its shareholders (owners) by providing a return on their investment in your company. A Rollover will process your currently entered decisions in the simulation for the year ahead.<\/p>\n<h3>Single-Player &amp; Multi-Player<\/h3>\n<p>MikesBikes Introduction has two phases of the simulation. It is important that you know the difference between these phases, and that you are entering your decisions in the correct World.<\/p>\n    \t\t<div class=\"hts-messages hts-messages--alert  hts-messages--withtitle hts-messages--withicon \"   >\r\n    \t\t\t<span class=\"hts-messages__title\">Help<\/span>    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\t<p>\r\n    \t\t\t\t\tSome courses will not use the simulation as described below, please check your Course Outline for more information.    \t\t\t\t<\/p>\r\n    \t\t\t    \t\t\t\r\n    \t\t<\/div><!-- \/.ht-shortcodes-messages -->\r\n    \t\t\n<p><strong>Single-Player Phase: <\/strong>In the Single-Player you will compete against a single computer-controlled competitor. In the Single-Player you are able to roll forward into the next decision period\/year or roll back as you wish in order to test and change your decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Multi-Player Phase:\u00a0<\/strong>In the Multi-Player you will compete either individually or in teams against other student-run companies in your class.
